In a press conference held at 11:30 this morning, the Discordian Press Secretary and Minister of Finance Ambrosia Stephenson said that the people of Discordia would have to wait for general elections to come. Claiming it was in the best interests of the people to have the elections overseen by third party, western governments, she said they would not occur on schedule, and did not provide a time line for their occurence.
