Cromwell's Security Policy - Serious Concerns

"Ethical Investor Magazine" Jan 25th

Serious concerns were raised regarding Cromwell Oil's plans for management of Security in the recently war-torn West African Republic of Discordia.

"Recent allegations in the press that a contractor to Cromwell is recruiting ex-Army personnel for what may amount to a private militia are of major concern," Said Jeremy Churt, Investment Director of Ethical Investment Mutual Fund "Green Wealth" yesterday. "We hope they're not true but we would like a clarification as soon as possible from Cromwell."

"Green Wealth" is understood to have a substantial holding in Cromwell Stock and is rumoured to manage the pension fund of Britain's Renewed Reform Church clergy.

Cromwell stock closed at 418, down on the year's starting price of 420, reflecting unease about its Discordia plans among many Ethical Investment groups.
