The Speed of Change in Discordia, or lack thereof.

The CDUL has launched a Social Media Campaign to bring to light the opportunities and challenges of the Discordian people, its government, and other stakeholders. So far it has garnered over 1,000 followers from within Discordia and over 5,000 worldwide. This number is growing rapidly. Posts on Twitter that have received the greatest number of comments include:

“@Discordia government press conference- minister of finance tight lipped ond s from within Discordia and over 5,000 worldwide. Tn definition of basic rights, stadium spending validity, weapons imports, and elections.”

Responses from within Discordia and worldwide have been sharp and call for a change in the attitude of this government. Some responses include:

“@Discordia the government must become more transparent without delay. The minister of finance and her cronies must issue a timeline, specifics, and plans to sustain their mandate of governance.”

“In NYC, the ecumenical council on reconciliation supports the strife faced by the Discordian people. We are praying and sending support through monetary and manpower to Discordia in the hopes to foster a greater dialogue for unity.”

The followership of the CDUL on twitter, facebook, SMS text message, and on the street are growing quickly into an important advocacy force from within and outside Discordia calling for positively managed change in the next 9 months.
